What are the possible side effects of Claritin-D?
• Serious side effects are not likely to occur with the use of Claritin-D. If you experience any of the following serious Claritin Side effects, stop taking Claritin-D and contact your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical attention:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· an irregular heartbeat; or
· seizures.
• Other, less serious Claritin D Side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take Claritin-D and talk to your doctor if you experience
· dizziness;
· headache;
· insomnia;
· nervousness;
· nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort online claritin;
· dry mouth;
· dry skin or itchiness; or
· discoloration of urine.
• Claritin Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
Claritin Syrup has been approved as a non-drowsy antihistamine syrup for children as young as six years of age. In addition, the indication for Claritin tablets was expanded to include children age six years and up.
Available only by prescription in a once-daily formula, Claritin Syrup is indicated for the treatment of allergy symptoms, including itchy, watery eyes; runny nose; itchy palate; cheap claritin sneezing; and idiopathic chronic urticaria (hives).
Claritin Syrup, in an alcohol-free and dye-free fruit flavored formula, is administered orally at a dose of two teaspoons once-per-day for children as young as six years of age.
Loratadine contraindicates Aricept, commonly prescribed for Alzheimer's patients. Although loratadine/Claritin improved minor hay fever-like symptoms, it was deleted from Alzheimer's patient's claritin drug regiment by her M.D. Potential drug interactions by prescribed and OTC medications/supplements should be carefully investigated.
Most common side effects are fatigue, drowsiness, dry mouth, and headaches usually mild but it is imperative to note that the use Claritin Side effects of this product should be discontinued if any of above symptoms are severe.
